Austin Price, Editor in Chief

Hello! My name is Austin, and I am a scholarship student at Regis, majoring in Business Administration. As a lifelong writer and lover of literature, I joined the Highlander my freshmen year as a staff writer and was invited to become Editor in Chief later that year. I have been leading the Regis Highlander since Spring 2023. My journalism journey began in high school where I served as the Editor in Chief of our school newspaper, The Pomona Perspective, for several years. In that role, I helped lead the publication through the transition to digital formatting and increased the caliber of work that was distributed. I have also written a full length novel as a part of National Novel Writing Month when I was in 8th grade. In addition to creative writing and journalism, I enjoy poetry, research, dance, choreography, movement improvisation, and videography. A fun fact about me is I am a huge bookworm, true crime junkie, and overall nerd. I love to research and report on haunted locations, creepy legends, and all things spooky. I am honored to be Editor in Chief of the Highlander, and grateful to lead this extraordinary publication and the people behind it.
