Sam Stephens, Social Media Manager

Hi, I'm Sam (she/they)!! I am a second-year Fine Arts major here at Regis. I joined the Highlander team my freshman year as the Social Media Manager. As a member of the yearbook team throughout ALL of grade school and a major social media user, being the Social Media Manager for The Highlander feels like my perfect fit. Technically, my social media journey started in 6th grade when I first (secretly) downloaded Instagram on my phone, but professionally speaking, it started in my junior year of high school where for two years, I ran a social media account focused on educating and helping peers with mental health by providing resources, hotlines, and coping mechanisms. I also posted video diaries on YouTube during these few years, and though it was short-lived, I enjoyed it a lot. This year with The Highlander I plan to grow our social media outreach, begin posting cross-platform, and hopefully see some more engagement from viewers in return!
