Opening on November 16th is the Cherry Creek Holiday Market. Want to get a headstart on your Christmas shopping? This is the place to do it! There will be local vendors, creators, and designers, making your shopping experience complete in just one stop.It is located on Fillmore Plaza in Cherry Creek North.
Visit the Denver Zoo on November 12th to enjoy the last free day at the zoo of the year. Enjoy free admission and see all the animals getting ready for winter.
On November 18th, you can be a part of a traditional ceremony that includes lighting the star on top of Castle Rock. There is a firework display, dancing, caroling, ice skating, kids activities, vendors, and a visit from Santa Claus!
Beginning November 10th, the Colorado Railroad Museum welcomes the Polar Express. Here you enjoy all kinds of festivities and then head to the North Pole on the beautiful train ride. It is a joy to view this train in the gorgeous winters we have. Its final performance is on December 23rd. Don’t miss it!
Blossoms of Light at Botanic Gardens:
Watch The Botanic Gardens come to life from November 17th until January 7th. The location will be covered by vibrant lights making it a beautiful experience. I went last year and I would say to try to go when it is snowing or there is snow on the ground. Snow makes it a million times more mesmerizing!
Did you know that there is an ice rink right in the heart of Denver? It opens on November 20th at 5 p.m! Enjoy ice skating with zero experience as they have rentals available and super cheap ticket prices.
I hope this month is filled with happiness for all and I hope this article gives you some fun winter activity ideas. Have a great November!
