DENVER, CO, May 21, 2025 - New Paradigm Dance Theater (NPDT) is finishing their second season with Endeavor, a collaborative performance celebrating artistry, energy, and connection. The performance will start at 7pm, and will take place at Cleo Parker Robinson Dance in Denver, CO. The program will showcase works by NPDT’s Co-Artistic Directors, Chris Harris and Julia Wilkinson Manley, with contributions from Gillian Beauchamp, Jacqueline Campos, Kerry Healy, and Morgan Sicklick.
NPDT is uniquely made up of THREE dance companies: a Youth Company, an Adult Company, and EMPOWER Dance Company - for teens and adults with special needs. By operating in an inclusive and non-judgmental way, NPDT brings the joy of movement and the excitement of creativity to all, without exclusion or hesitation.
Endeavor will include separate performances by each company, and culminate in imperative, life-changing collaborations, through joint performances onstage. NPDT fosters the philosophy that dance, and experiencing the freedom of movement is a human experience, and should be accessible to all. This belief demonstrates that societal teachings and physical differences are not a cause for exclusivity in movement.
NPDT first debuted these exceptional collaborations in their 2024 world premiere of Nutcracker Reimagined, a professionally-produced rendition of a beloved classic, that served as a winter celebration of Colorado’s Flora and Fauna, accompanied by the timeless Tchaikovsky score. The premiere of Nutcracker Reimagined was a success, and showed the need for more remarkable collaborations between artists. Endeavor will continue this extraordinary process and once again bring forth the unbeatable magic of movement without exclusion, and the enduring beauty of art without judgement.
