On September 7th, 2023, Regis University hosted its annual event, Battleship. With inflatable pools, food vendors, and plenty of water, Battleship offers Regis students a fun, stress relieving experience to cool off in the hot fall of Colorado.

Regis group, SOMOS, hosted an event on September 27th, 2023 with food, volleyball, and fun. SOMOS provides support, celebration and appreciation, and knowledge of the Latinx culture. On a cool, autumn evening, the Regis community gathered for some music and fun on the quad.

The Connections Retreat is an annual weekend activity for freshmen who want an escape from campus to go hangout and meet new people. Organized by the University Ministry this retreat incorporates aspects of spirituality and religion, but does not require participants to be religious. When I attended this retreat, I met so many new freshmen friends and upperclassmen who are involved in UMinn, who taught us how to become more involved.

RAWtools, an organization that specializes in nonviolence training in real-world situations, attended First Year Experience events at Regis University. RAWtools made an appearance at Regis University giving students the chance to hammer a gun barrel in front of the Pedro Arrupe, S.J. statue in the morning and near food trucks in the afternoon.

On Tuesday, April 11th, underneath a bright, blue sky, the Regis Highlander sponsored Journals & Juice, an event encouraging creativity, community, and delicious lemonade! The Highlander provided Regis students with journals, pens, stickers, tape and all the materials you need to create your own, personalized journal! The afternoon was made complete by delicious lemonade and a photo booth! Stay tuned for more Highlander sponsored events at Regis!
