Hispanic Heritage Month Starts with GOZA, Hosted by SOMOS

SOMOS at Regis University is a student affinity group that celebrates and promotes Latinx culture. To kick off the start of Hispanic Heritage Month, from September 15th to October 15th, SOMOS hosted GOZA. On September 16th, at the Student Center Patio, GOZA brought the entire Regis community together, to share a meal and experience the beauty of Hispanic and Latinx culture.

On February 27th, 2025, Regis University’s Somos Club offered self care to students. The event took place outside of the Student Center, giving students a chance to enjoy sweet snacks in the sun.
Somos Hosts First Meeting of Spring Semester

On February 13th, 2025, Somos hosted its first meeting of the spring semester. Somos exists to provide support, celebrate, and promote appreciation for Latinx culture. This first meeting followed that mission by allowing participants to invite friends and create Valentine’s Day cards together.
Closing Celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month at Regis University

On Wednesday, October 9th, 2024, in recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month, GOZA hosted by SOMOS, held a fiesta with food and music to close off the month’s events. This celebration took place on the Student Center Patio and was open to all.

Regis group, SOMOS, hosted an event on September 27th, 2023 with food, volleyball, and fun. SOMOS provides support, celebration and appreciation, and knowledge of the Latinx culture. On a cool, autumn evening, the Regis community gathered for some music and fun on the quad.
