The third and final installment of my Spooky Season Series Selection is the recently released, season 3 of Monsters. Season 3, again created by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan, focuses on one of the most infamous and influential individuals in true crime history. Often dubbed as the “Ghoul of Plainfield”, the “Grandfather of Gore”, and the “Plainfield Butcher” is the one and only Ed Gein. Gein would later become the pinnacle of villainous actions and the inspiration for some of the most iconic horror films ever released. Asian Student Alliance Hosts Mid-Autumn Festival

The Asian Student Alliance (ASA) at Regis University recently hosted a Mid-Autumn Festival on Tuesday, October 7th. Set in front of the Student Center, the event welcomed all community members on campus. The festivities included traditional, homemade Vietnamese food and Korean drinks. Other activities were mooncake tasting, trivia playing, lantern painting, and watching lion dancing.

Spooky Season Series Selection Part 2 - Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story

In continuing my Spooky Season Series Selection, we have another series created by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan for Netflix. Today’s selection is the second season of the Monster series and focuses on a controversial and highly debated case. The disputation of this case was mainly due to the extensive media coverage and exploitation of all involved through the televised process. In a harrowing account of childhood abuse and the greed of the American Dream, comes the biased story of the Menendez brothers.
