Healthy Hens and Chippy Chicks

Dylan Aguirre-Miller, Staff Photographer

Hens and chicks are an unusual pet, but one that can provide valuable resources. A healthy laying hen will lay around 250 eggs per year, however this depends on their diet, environment and age. While they may not be the most common animals, they are intelligent, friendly, and are treasured members of people’s families.

Tie-Dye Skies

Alina Hussaini, Staff Photographer

Downtown Denver encompasses the signature style of city life. With the hustle and bustle of businesses, the constant whir of transportation, and never-ending influx of people passing through, it’s easy to get caught up in the busy world. However, the tie-dye skies of dusk in Denver reminds us to look up, and enjoy the view.

Alina Hussaini, Guest Photographer

Throughout February, Colorado held rates of low temperatures. With a dusting of snow, and a chill that hits down to the bone, the university was engulfed in the winter season. With these cold conditions, Regis University sparked in the snow in this special, panoramic view of the university.

Puppy Portraits

Dylan Aguirre-Miller, Staff Photographer

As man’s best friends, dogs are known for their loving spirit, loyal nature, and protective relationship with their humans. However, despite their active lifestyles, they sometimes slow down, just long enough for us to snap a picture. These snapshots become adorable Puppy Portraits!
