Regis University Dominates in Women’s Volleyball

On November 19th, 2024, Regis University dominated the court in women’s volleyball. In a match against Colorado State University Pueblo, at the Regis University Fieldhouse, Regis took the victory with a final score of 3 to 1. With this win, the Regis University Volleyball team advances to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament Semifinals.

“Could you give us a twirl and tell us about your outfit?” was apparently the most dire question to ask Eugenie Bouchard, a Canadian tennis player after her winning match in the 2015 Australian Open. This question caused a flood of criticism towards sports media and opened the discussion about gender discrimination within the industry itself. How could a twirl be so important?
