Dusk occurs when the Sun is 6° below the horizon in the evening. With the Rocky Mountains complimenting the view, a picture perfect dusk is a common treat for Coloradans. Capturing this priceless moment is difficult, but when it is achieved, the results are extraordinary.

Hens and chicks are an unusual pet, but one that can provide valuable resources. A healthy laying hen will lay around 250 eggs per year, however this depends on their diet, environment and age. While they may not be the most common animals, they are intelligent, friendly, and are treasured members of people’s families.

However, Cherry Creek Reservoir is also a home for a thriving ecosystem and multiple different species. One of the more commonly seen and people friendly animals found in this reservoir are ducks.
