Hens and chicks are an unusual pet, but one that can provide valuable resources. A healthy laying hen will lay around 250 eggs per year, however this depends on their diet, environment and age. While they may not be the most common animals, they are intelligent, friendly, and are treasured members of people’s families.

However, the tie-dye skies of dusk in Denver reminds us to look up, and enjoy the view.

Cherry Creek Reservoir is a both a tourist attraction and a popular spot for locals to visit and enjoy the recreational activities. However, Cherry Creek Reservoir is also a home for a thriving ecosystem and multiple different species. One of the more commonly seen and people friendly animals found in this reservoir are ducks.

The Beauty of Cherry Creek Reservoir

In the Cherry Creek State Park in Aurora, Colorado, the Cherry Creek Reservoir is located. It is at the confluence of Cherry Creek and Cottonwood Creek, southeast of Denver. The reservoir is created by the Cherry Creek Dam, and was initially designed for flood control. Nowadays, many recreational activities are hosted by the park, attracting tourists and locals alike.
