DENVER, CO, June 4, 2025 - Colorado Movement Lab (CML), emphasizes dance education, movement exploration, and wellness, all to curate each student’s individual dance journey. CML merges dance with body science, art, and the potentiality of movement. In doing so, CML offers incredible opportunities for students of all ages and abilities. One of these opportunities is cultivated in CML’s Youth Summer Programs, specifically formulated for students ages 3 to 12. All classes in the Youth Summer Programs take place in CML’s home base in Westminster, CO, and are directed by Co-Artistic Directors Chris Harris and Julia Wilkinson Manley.
Distinguished into multiple sessions, CML’s Youth Summer Programs run throughout the summer, and are split into various sections.
Classes are scheduled in the following format:
Program 1 - June 2-21
Program 2 - June 30 - July 19
Summer Specials 2 - July 28 - Aug 2
Throughout the offered sessions, CML’s Youth Students will take classes in various styles, learning a multitude of disciplines. Some of the classes offered include Ballet, Tap, and a special project based on The Carnival of the Animals, inspired and accompanied by the comedic musical suite created by Camille Saint-Saëns. The faculty for CML’s Youth Summer Programs includes Caitlin Ayres, Carly Hambridge, Page Jenkins, Rebeca Ramirez Vargas, and Julia Wilkinson Manley.
The schedule for students attending CML’s Youth Summer Programs spans Monday through Saturday, with classes running between 9:00am and 1:00pm. Colorado Movement Lab holds all classes in their beautiful, sun-filled space in The Colonnades at Standley Lake.
