How Regis University’s AI Policy Could Change in the Coming Years

On Monday, September 15, 2025, Regis University’s Provost, Jake Bucher, discussed the current AI policy at Regis. Amidst growing knowledge and familiarity with generative AI, Bucher also mentioned proposed changes, from addressing faculty responsibility and usage to institutional approaches, such as accessing AI tools through the Regis library.
Regis University Senior Launches “Women In Business” Club

Senior Kylie Stremmel has started a new club at Regis called “Women In Business”. The idea came to mind at the end of the 2024 school year, with the want to create a place where confidence can grow for women heading into work after graduation.
Hispanic Heritage Month Starts with GOZA, Hosted by SOMOS

SOMOS at Regis University is a student affinity group that celebrates and promotes Latinx culture. To kick off the start of Hispanic Heritage Month, from September 15th to October 15th, SOMOS hosted GOZA. On September 16th, at the Student Center Patio, GOZA brought the entire Regis community together, to share a meal and experience the beauty of Hispanic and Latinx culture.
The Highlander Staff Visits 9News Headquarters

Earlier this month, the Highlander Staff had the incredible opportunity to visit 9News Headquarters in Denver. The visit was a behind the scenes look into a fast paced journalistic environment, fueled by a large team of dedicated creatives, wanting to bring news to viewers with accuracy and credibility. With this trip, the Highlander staff witnessed live interviews and toured the sets where the morning news is filmed.
